An 1865 historic home, built by the mayor of Hudson at the time, was recently listed for sale for $1,025,000.
Located at 326-328 Allen Street in Hudson, the ornate home with Italianate touches was built by Joshua T. Waterman, who served as Hudson’s mayor for four consecutive terms beginning in 1853. He and his wife, Jeanette Ten Eyck, had 12 children who grew up in the French Second Empire-style home, known for its eclectic mix of architectural and decorative features.
