Seattle’s red-hot real estate market “on-pause”

SEATTLE — The coronavirus pandemic and Gov. Jay Inslee’s stay-home order is disrupting all walks of life and business, even having an impact on Seattle’s real estate market. Real estate and mortgage businesses do remain open, deemed "an essential business" under the state’s guidelines, but many brokers and their clients have put themselves "on-pause. ""I’ve had a lot conversations with sellers and buyers whether we should wait or not," said Kenna Pearson, a broker with Windermere.
