A luxury rental community being built in Grand Prairie is now open accepting leases.
Texas-based apartment builder Presidium is building the 290-unit project south of Interstate 30 near the Bush Turnpike.
Called Presidium Hill Street, the four-story project won’t be fully completed until mid-2022, but people can start moving in this spring, the company said in a press release.
Each of the apartments will feature 9-foot ceilings, stainless steel appliances, smart-technology lighting and thermostats and energy-efficient systems.
Designed by Dallas-based O’Brien Architects, the rental community will also include a circular resort-style pool, a business lounge with conference rooms, a rooftop terrace, a fitness center, bike storage and a pet grooming area.
Presidium Co-CEO and Co-Founder of Presidium John Griggs said in a statement that the complex will provide access to numerous highways and employment and entertainment destinations throughout North Texas.
“With this market continuing to be highly sought-after in the Dallas metro area, Presidium Hill Street sets a new standard for rental housing in the Grand Prairie and Arlington submarket,” Griggs said.
The new complex comes as the Grand Prairie and North Texas housing markets are being squeezed. A recent Forbes report listed Grand Prairie as having the 12th-lowest housing inventory in the U.S.
