Wednesday is the last day for many Disney Store locations across the country.
However, the Disney Store at the Outlet Shoppes at El Paso at 7051 S. Desert Blvd. in Canutillo will keep its doors open. The store is not listed as closing as of Wednesday, Sept. 15.
An employee at the store in Canutillo said there were no plans to close.
The Walt Disney Co. previously announced plans to close nearly 60 of its full-size retail locations across the country “on or before” Wednesday. As of Tuesday, the store locator tool didn’t indicate which locations might have already closed and which are ending liquidation sales Wednesday.

In March, the company said that it was reducing the number of stores to focus on its e-commerce business. It announced nearly 40 closures in March.
“While consumer behavior has shifted toward online shopping, the global pandemic has changed what consumers expect from a retailer,” Stephanie Young, president of consumer products, games and publishing, said in a statement at the time.
The closures come as Target plans to open more than 100 new Disney shops inside its stores by the end of 2021. It’s also right before Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary.
